27th European Drosophila Research Conference

Welcome to the EDRC 2023!

The European Drosophila Research Conference (EDRC) is the main scientific conference for the European fruit fly research community. It takes place every two years in a European city and draws between 600 and 800 delegates from all over the world. After Barcelona (2013), Heidelberg (2015), London (2017), and Lausanne (2019), the 2023 edition will take place at the International Congress Center in Lyon, France.

The EDRC covers the whole breadth of Drosophila research, from evolution and development through to neurobiology, immunology, metabolism, and cancer research. It acts as a major conduit for scientific communication in Europe and has a strong training remit as the majority of platform speakers are chosen from abstracts submitted by early career researchers.

We wish to organize a conference where the latest developments in Drosophila-related biology and technologies will be presented.

Bus C4: operates only from JEAN MACE to FOCH ROOSSEVELT METRO: stops from DUQUESNE FOCH to CITE INT. CENTRE DE CONGRES not served.

Bus C5: special terminus at CHARPENNES: stops from CITE INT. CENTRE DE CONGRES to CORDELIERS not served.

Bus C26: Runs only from GRANGE BLANCHE to CONDORCET: stops from CITE INT. TRANSBORDEUR to LE TONKIN not served.

Bus 70: Diverted to Gare Part-Dieu Vivier Merle between SAINT CLAIR SQUARE BROSSET and PARC TETE D'OR STALINGRAD: CITE INTERNATIONALE TRANSBORDEUR stop not served.
